the others

my gosh. there were a lot of them. mostly bald guys, a few girls and the like. and they all know each other. imagine only me, joey, rex, jencarps and she in a block section! (para kmeng i-reg students!) and they think we're all veterans and oh-so techie. haha. still, at least im not alone. it lessens the feeling of being OP. well, it's just the first day of product training. i guess their harmless. and to heck with them anyway.

ughh. em-j's right. i too miss the good ol days... ='C

I MISS YOU GUYS! sobra.

macky. jenny. pao-pao. carlo. em-j.

(with all your wisecracks, pranks and sometimes even the continuous badgering..)

mmmwaaah to aLL!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

anyways....

we had no work the other night. i was planning to do a lot of stuff with me, myself and i so i can unwind and get some rest. that was why i declined my friends' invitation (or persuasion? coercion? or just plain guilt-trip? haha) to go drinking at rex's place.

you see...i haven't watched tv for the longest time. i don't think i would even recognize the new actors and stars nowadays. and i miss the music videos. jade and i are also the only ones who haven't finished benj's angels and demons..which even my dad had read, along with the rest of my family. and to think he didn't even give any harry potter book a second chance! there's also abby's shopaholic takes manhattan. il return it soon bb! and then ching's getting mad at me coz i still haven't watched windstruck and she needs to return the dvd already. my siblings adored it coz it's a korean flick also starred by pretty girl ji-hyun jun of my sassy girl. so, that's it. my night is fully-booked.

or so i thought. after a few minutes of blog hopping and finding song urls for our newly-installed COOL website music player (the script joey and i "borrowed" from our L2 friends ;D...), i was already battling with mr. sandman. i tried to stay awake but my efforts were in vain. i dozed off for a few minutes, planning to wake up at dawn. but sleep was like a drug. beckoning me to have some more. thus, i woke up late the next day. and i say to myself...what the f**?!

so i thought of making good use of my remaining hours before work. i have to pay my globe bill (well, at least half of it..) just to avoid a freakin' disconnection and maybe watch a movie with some friends. but apparently there was no planning and no texts messages received and it didn't push through (right, em-j?). also, it was cold and raining. such a nice time to stay under the covers. ugghh. i guess in the end i just spent quality time with my bed. darn it.

at the brink of insanity

aside from blogging and trying to decipher html codes, another enthralling pastime is this fish. people have been enslaved by the magic of this game. a lot have tried to resist but to no avail. i was also a victim. a hopeless one among many others. but no regrets though. the exhilaration it brings is worth it. try it and be captivated.

do you believe in ghosts?

the adorable calvin and hobbes..haha

six feet under...and what joy it brings

happy all souls day. i wonder why happy? such a weird greeting when it reminds us that many people are dead. maybe this means that all the souls are happy every halloween because know they are the greater source that influence the members of their clan to get together. one way or another. hehe. even for just a short time and amongst burning candles, over-fragrant flowers and tons of home-made delicious food. this has always been the case with my family. it has been our tradition to visit the resting place of my lolo isidoro every all souls day in binangonan, rizal. my sisters and i always try to make up excuses not to go because of the long trip and the feeling of just wasting our precious vacation time. (how mean of us..i know..) but of course in the end, my mom and some unknown force always prevail. we know we really have to go this year. we are visiting not only my lolo but also my uncle who passed away just a few months ago. they said that my uncle has always been the black sheep of the family. he left home and my lolo has always been mad at him. but when my lolo died, i know my uncle has already been forgiven. and now their tombstones lay side-by-side. six feet under, and at peace with each other at last. quite a family reunion for me. i get to be with my titas, titos and lola. i get to meet my cousin's new wife. and his toddler daughter naiza. and then more cousins. or so i thought. coz i just found out that my cousins gerald and keanna are really not my cousins at all. they are my nephew and niece. their mom is my first cousin pala. so that already makes me their tita. wow, imagine me an auntie! i feel so old. hehe. with niece keanna & nephew gerald =D anyway, one of the best parts of this social event was the food. lola's ginatang bilo-bilo was the specialty of the day. aside from that, there was pansit, tilapya, palitaw, puto, and other filipino foods. but of course, mom's non-native carbonara was also on top of the list. we ate til we cant't speak no more. after that we rested, looked around the cemetery and prayed for my lolo and uncle's eternal repose. and then it was time to go. but due to lola's insistence, before we left, we ate some more. and there was still pabaon from her on the way home. lola's a real gem. (she so sweet and honest..after a hug and a pinch in our tummys, she proudly calls us her "gwapas");D well, i had a great time this year. we did a lot of catching up with our relatives. we shared a lot of stories. took care of the little ones. pigged-out together. even played with the burning candles on lolo's tomb. i know my sisters had fun also. i guess we just always forget how we truly enjoy these gatherings. maybe after noting it down, we will remember not to make excuses again for the next coming years. so,to the generations of children, to the dead and the living, a toast to our family's tradition. happy halloween.

uprising SUN..

yahoo! i got my second phone at last! eventhough it's only 3315, i love it coz it's brand new. for real this time. haha. after almost being conned into buying a second hand delapidated nokia with angel acetate and neon green backlight being passed off as brand new... what a nightmare! anyway, enough of that. i just want to share my excitement..i just got connected to sun and its true! you can make unlimited calls and texts to other sun people as long as you have the 24/7 promo activated in your sun sim. most of my friends also have two phones like me for easy access to all networks. i think it's a great idea to save money from our phoneline bills. so, to all my other friends out there..try it out and see for yourselves how convenient and fun it is to communicate with everyone! =D (note: this is not a paid advertisement..) haha.
